In 200 years, the City of Angels has become the pinnacle of society, and the shining beacon of the US. Crime is almost eliminated, and the citizens live peaceful lives. All that is shaken when Los Angeles? greatest football star is found dead. Police employ their greatest weapon in combating crime, a legion of telepaths, to solve the crime and capture the culprit. But when the new saviors of society fall short, city officials have to rely on the one man they want nothing to do with: Phillip Raven. In a world that?s at its technological pinnacle, Raven is as old school as they come. With the only modern thing about him being his robotic secretary, Katherine Zero, he plays by his own rules and lives outside the city?s control, but never drops a case. It?s now up to this loose cannon to unleash his own brand of classic detective work and two fisted justice to solve the high profile crime of the century that has the rest of the city scrambling. As he follows the clues, and gets closer to apprehending those responsible, it becomes clear to Raven that the murder of an athlete was just the tip of the iceberg, and a much more sinister plot is waiting just beneath the surface. A plot, that if it sees the light of day could change the face of humanity, forever. That is, if Raven isn?t too late already?
