Company History & Mission Statement
Arch Enemy Entertainment was founded with a vision. As a child, co-founder William Wilson was a huge fan of comics. He left his small town with only a few dollars and a dream, a dream to make it in Hollywood. After only a few short years, he saw that dream become a reality when he was given the opportunity to write a film with long time idol John Carpenter. After completing the fantasy project of writing the next installment of the Snake Plisskin films and being groomed by some of the top names in the film industry, Wilson wanted to expand, writing new and exciting projects with his own flair behind them. However, despite his new friends and mentors, Wilson found the direct path into Hollywood becoming more and more difficult. It was at this time that his career came full circle. While on the Snake Plisskin project he met several people in the comic book industry. With the help of these new friends and colleagues, and the help of friends from across the country, Arch Enemy Entertainment was born in 2004. Wilson, and the other creators he had discovered along the way, came together and gave the company their own personal missions: to build a place where they could not only have the freedom to create their own stories, to create a company that produced innovative, revolutionary, and groundbreaking stories and characters, but to give those who hadn't yet had their own stories heard a chance to tell them. Since then, Arch Enemy has grown by leaps and bounds, becoming not just a comic book company, but a media company. They deal with musicians and Hollywood stars, writers and artists alike, creating music, films, screenplays, and comics. As the company grows, those who were there on the first day and those who have joined along the way, all make sure that as the roller coaster keeps moving, they remember where they came from and where they are going. They remember to hear all voices, both loud and quiet. They turn every stone, searching for the next great artist, the next great writer. They keep pushing the boundaries of convention by creating top quality, original, and highly innovative stories.
"We know that the next great storyteller is out there, whether it be singer, songwriter, artist, or writer. We know they are waiting for their chance to show the world what they can do. We know that they are waiting for their chance to replace the old guard. We can't wait to give them that chance."
Arch Enemy Enetertainment is repped by Jon Levin at CAA.
